Ha ha! Wow, very creative effort! A little cheeky, but an endearing match of the parent strains. Offers instant novelty. This is 2 very dissimilar lineages smashed together, and impressingly presents as a perfect 50/50 split of both recipes muted down to fit.
The resulting profile contains a savoury layer of stewed- down garlic/ mushroom/ onion (still salty but thick like stock or reduction with wine), then a pure layer of root beer (not fizzy, it’s smooth like cola with a tiny lime wedge). The second half is the candy with a nice gas over it to give the strain a sensible finish (the candy has several possible notes, maybe raspberry/ watermelon/ strawberry/ apple, and the gas is a plentiful half spray- type/ half fuel). That’s 4 thick layers, a stew with soda & candy with gas.
A little over- mixed & rich, but plenty to return to each time. Watch a clip of the videogame Pandemonium 2, the colours are swirling & saturated, there’s more going on than you’re accustomed to, but so wondrous that you want to stick around.. the flavours & aroma are exactly like that. Even the effects are like the sound design of the game (froggy but vivid, alien & interesting). You will be cozy & huddled up like pond- life, but everything’s a bit of a painting and takes a while to look at. I’m tellin’ ya, Garlic Fumez is Pandemonium 2.
There are more full savouries out there for me, and brighter prettier candies for the sweet folks, but Garlic Fumez is it’s own moment in time. Delicious yummy rare mix, complete & full strain. Would certainly return to and recommend! Thanks for another unique option! Xx
